These treatments incorporate many aspects of Traditional Chinese Medicine including acupuncture, herbal medicine, dietary and lifestyle guidance.

Tina specializes in pain management, infertility, stress reduction, allergies, and digestive disorders. Yuka Tsukioka
                        Edgmon, N.M.D.TRAINING
Dr. Yuka Tsukioka Edgmon is a Licensed Naturopathic Doctor who is practicing in Orange County, California. She earned a Doctorate in Naturopathic Medicine from the Southwest College of Naturopathic Medicine and Health Sciences in Tempe, Arizona and a Master of Science in Acupuncture and Oriental Medicine from South Baylo University in Anaheim, California.

Initially, Dr. Yuka obtained a Bachelor of Science degree in Psycholinguistics from the University of Alberta and she taught thousands of college students in subjects relating to that field for a number of years. During this time, it became clear to her that people wanted to be more responsible for their own health care but many were experiencing an information overload of conflicting medical data when dealing with health issues in general.

Dr. Yuka quickly realized that by training to be a doctor herself, she could expand her extensive psychology background with the holistic modalities afforded by Naturopathic Medicine to help those who are seeking for an alternative approach to maintain or improve health.

It is Dr. Yuka’s strong belief that each patient needs to be educated and treated as a whole, therefore, treatment should focus on the cause of the problem, rather than simply relieving the symptoms. Prevention is also an important component of her healthcare paradigm. She strives to enhance the person’s own ability to heal, to be healthy and to stay healthy by utilizing a variety of methods that are suitable for each patient.
Dr. Yuka was born and raised in Japan where medicine is a powerful combination of ancient wisdom and modern science. Her Japanese background along with a Traditional Oriental Medicine philosophy resonates in harmony with Naturopathic Medicine. She now combines her teaching expertise along with the knowledge in medicine to form a dynamic symbiotic relationship to benefit those seeking integrative medical care.  Dr. Yuka’s treatment protocol is the perfect blend of East and West.

Dr. Yuka has over 20 years of clinical and teaching experiences combined.  She has trained in both conventional family medicine at hospital-affiliated clinics and naturopathic family medicine at private naturopathic clinics as well as acupuncture and oriental medicine clinics.  As a Faculty member of South Baylo University, Dr. Yuka instructs students in the field of Diet / Nutrition and Physical Diagnosis.  As an educator, she conducts informational classes and seminars for numerous organizations such as Orange County Water District, Chapman University and the American Heart Association.   She is a member of the California Naturopathic Doctors Association.

Dr. Yuka is a Family Practitioner who focuses on areas such as Nutrition, Lifestyle Counseling, Environmental Medicine, Weight Loss/Maintenance Programs, Men's Health, Healthy Aging, Physical Medicine, Mind-Body Medicine, Pediatrics, Autism, ADHD, Cancer Therapy Support, Bio-Identical Hormone Replacement Therapy, Homeopathy, Botanical Medicine, and Injection Therapy.
